The memorial is situated to the West of the Parish Church of St Peter and St Paul, Watlington. Just inside the churchyard on the left of the path and was dedicated in November 1919. This memorial has taken the form of a stone cross, 16 feet high erected by Mr J Case (Lynn) in the churchyard, just inside the church gate and in front of the porch. The architect was Mr J N Comper.
This memorial commemorates the residents of Watlington who were killed or missing in the First World War (14 names) and the Second World War (4 names).
